John Rhodes wins MNGC's 2007 club championship

Updated 8/6/07 :

John Rhodes shot 74 on day one and 76 on day two to win the 2007 club chapionship by 5 strokes over, runner up, Tim Doreen.  The net winner with a net total of 140 was Shannon Edwards.  Congrats to John and Shannon.

MNGC Crowns Winner of The Annual Member/Guest Event

Updated 7/15/07 :

Gene Lindberg (Member) & Jim MIchela won MNGC's 2007 member/guest tournament with a two day net total of 120.  Joe Magee (Member) & Ray O'Dwyer finished second with a two day net total of 126.  The individual gross winners were Bob Berlinsky - 155 (1st Place) and Pat Borwaski - 160 (2nd Place).  Congrats to the winners.

Tim Collins and Bryan Boswell won the gross portion of MNGC's 2007 member/member tournament with a score of 71.   Jeremy Simon and Bill Snider won the net portion of the event with a score of 63.  Congrats to the winners.

George Washburn wins MNGC's 2006 club championship

George Washburn defeated Tony Wickless 1up in the championship flight to win MNGC's 2006 club championship.  The first flight winner was Ken Keyser.  Congrats to George and Ken.

MNGC Crowns Winner of The Annual Member Guest Event

Ron Burley (Member) and Joe Anderton (Guest) won MNGC's 2006 member guest tournament.  The two man, best ball net event was won on the first playoff hole.  Congrats to Ron and Joe.

JR Fitzwater becomes MNGC's first club champion

JR Fitzwater defeated Mickey Perry in the championship flight on the third playoff hole to win MNGC's first club championship.  First flight winners were Michael Orsini (Low Gross) and Richard Moreland (Low Net).

Ethan Lester Named General Manager of MNGC

Ethan Lester has been named General Manager of Maryland National Golf Club.  Prior to his new position, Ethan was MNGC's golf course superintendent for the last three years.

MNGC Host Site of Mid-Atlantic CPC

Updated 6/16/03:
The Mid-Atlantic PGA section has named Maryland National Golf Club as host site for the Club Professional Championship. The event will be held August 18 and 19, 2003.
