MNGC Crowns winners of 2009 Monster Mash Tournament in Record fashion

Kenny Winfield, Dirk Schultz, Ken Lampard, & Kevin Reiber were presented the silver pumpkin for their record setting win in this years monster mash tournament. With a score of 59, they broke last years scoring record of 63. Congratulations to our winners and thanks to all of those who came out and participated.

Dell Ahalt wins MNGC's 2009 club championship

Dell Ahalt beat Jason Moore in the 36 hole match play final in the championship flight 5&4.  Conratulations to Dell and Jason for a great championship.  Pat Borawski beat Bob Berlinsky in the 18 hole match play final in the first flight 5&4.

Gene Lindberg (Member) & Buddy Kooloff (Guest) won MNGC's 2009 member/guest tournament with a two day net total of 124.  Jason Moore (Member) & Nick Schwab finished second with a two day net total of 127.

Jason Moore and Nick McAdams won the gross portion of MNGC's 2009 member/member tournament.   Chris Forrest and Alex Wiedel won the net portion of the event.  Congrats to the winners.

Maryland National Gets Recognized By Two National Pulications

Maryland National was given a four star rating and recognized as one of Golf Digest's Best Places to Play for 2008 - 2009.  The course was also recognized by Golf Magazine as the 6th best golf course in Maryland in their "Best Courses Near You" edition for 2008.

Chris Forrest (Member) & Adam Rabin won MNGC's 2008 member/guest tournament with a two day net total of 129.  Jeff Wycliffe (Member) & John Rhoads finished second with a two day net total of 131.

John Rhodes wins MNGC's 2007 club championship

John Rhodes shot 74 on day one and 76 on day two to win the 2007 club chapionship by 5 strokes over, runner up, Tim Doreen.  The net winner with a net total of 140 was Shannon Edwards.  Congrats to John and Shannon.

Gene Lindberg (Member) & Jim MIchela won MNGC's 2007 member/guest tournament with a two day net total of 120.  Joe Magee (Member) & Ray O'Dwyer finished second with a two day net total of 126.  The individual gross winners were Bob Berlinsky - 155 (1st Place) and Pat Borwaski - 160 (2nd Place).  Congrats to the winners.

George Washburn wins MNGC's 2006 club championship

George Washburn defeated Tony Wickless 1up in the championship flight to win MNGC's 2006 club championship.  The first flight winner was Ken Keyser.  Congrats to George and Ken.

Ron Burley (Member) and Joe Anderton (Guest) won MNGC's 2006 member guest tournament.  The two man, best ball net event was won on the first playoff hole.  Congrats to Ron and Joe.

JR Fitzwater becomes MNGC's first club champion

JR Fitzwater defeated Mickey Perry in the championship flight on the third playoff hole to win MNGC's first club championship.  First flight winners were Michael Orsini (Low Gross) and Richard Moreland (Low Net).

Ethan Lester Named General Manager of MNGC

Ethan Lester has been named General Manager of Maryland National Golf Club.  Prior to his new position, Ethan was MNGC's golf course superintendent for the last three years.

MNGC Host Site of Mid-Atlantic CPC

The Mid-Atlantic PGA section has named Maryland National Golf Club as host site for the Club Professional Championship. The event will be held August 18 and 19, 2003.
