Nick Schwab

General Manager / Golf Course Superintendent

Since joining Maryland National Golf Club in August 2002, Nick has demonstrated an unwavering commitment to excellence. His expertise, leadership, and deep knowledge of golf course operations have been instrumental in establishing Maryland National as one of Maryland’s premier golf destinations. Now serving as General Manager, Nick brings the same dedication and high standards to every aspect of the club’s operations, ensuring an exceptional experience for members and guests alike. A graduate of Cincinnati State, he continues to advance his professional expertise through certifications in fertilizer and chemical application and active membership in the Golf Course Superintendents Association of America. Nick’s outstanding leadership and passion for the club remain central to Maryland National’s continued success.

Robin Semler

Assistant General Manager

Since her hire date in July of 2009, Robin has been an integral part of our operation. Beginning as a bartender and making her way through a number of roles to her current position as the Clubhouse Manager, Robin has gained a thorough understanding of every aspect of our business, making her the go-to individual for our team. Robin’s job responsibilities cover a wide range of social, financial, and managerial tasks vital to our day-to-day operations. Outside of Maryland National, Robin loves spending time at the beach with her son, Tommy, and her dogs, Clyde and Chloe.

Dirk Schultz

Director of Golf

Dirk has been a professional since 1991, and a member of the PGA since 1998. His successes on the course, with multiple local course records and a slew of PGA tournaments under his belt, combined with his extensive work experience including, most recently, Beaver Creek Country Club in Hagerstown, Maryland, make him a fantastic addition to the MNGC family. We look forward to welcoming Dirk to the Middletown Valley, and incorporating his knowledge, experience, and following in the community to our golf operation.

Penny Major-Rundatz

Executive Chef

Penny brings 47 years of professional culinary, pastry, and catering experience to the team. She has worked up and down the East Coast, continually expanding her knowledge of different foods and cultures. Penny believes we can learn a lot about people through food and discover commonalities between cultures.
Her culinary passions include baking and pastries, Korean, Chinese, and South American cuisine. In her new role, Penny will continue to create exceptional dining experiences at Schroyer’s Tavern and for our special events.

Reghan Lennox

Director of Sales and Marketing

Since her hire in 2020, Reghan has been a valuable member of our team, and has grown into a phenomenal restaurant manager. Her experience and knowledge of the outing and banquet world, combined with her ever-expanding business knowledge through her college studies, have made her a vital piece of our blossoming sales department. Starting in 2023, Reghan has become the primary point of contact for many of our outings, showers, birthdays, retirements, rehearsal dinners, and more.

Nikki Eshleman

Food & Beverage Director

As the newest Department Head at Maryland National Golf Club, Nikki is excited to join the team as Food & Beverage Director, to continue the quality product and service that Schroyer’s Tavern prides itself on. Her depth of knowledge within the industry – including time in catering, hometown bars, fine dining, and the corporate world – combined with her extensive leadership and training experience – honed by 20 years in the classroom – make her an exceptional addition to our management family. As her incorporation into the operation continues, guests can visit during Tavern hours to experience her seasonally curated food and cocktail menus, plan events alongside her as your planner and day-of coordinator, or catch her on the course honing her golf game. However you may cross paths, make sure to say hello!

Kourtney Dominick

Membership Director

As a now long-tenured face of the Tavern, Ms. Kourtney has recently been named the Membership Director at Maryland National Golf Club, in addition to her existing role as the Assistant Food & Beverage Director. In her role, she works hard to grow our membership family, maximize the experience of our annual golf members, and to create a well-rounded annual event calendar with the addition of social member events quarterly. Her growing knowledge of the overall operation, combined with her positivity, drive to learn, and friendly demeaner make her an irreplaceable part of the team.
